ABOUT CRISP POWER
CRISP POWER is shaking up the protein snack world with our salty, crunchy, and seriously satisfying Protein Pretzels. We bring the energy, the edge, and the attitude… no boring and chalky snacks here. Our brand is all about having fun, being bold, and delivering a protein-packed crunch with every bite. We’re serious about making snacks that are high protein, low carb and super crunchy.
With a presence at Costco, Wegmans, and Amazon and a rapidly expanding retail footprint, CRISP POWER is on an aggressive growth trajectory. We are now building the operational infrastructure to match that ambition, and this hire is central to that mission.
We’re looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager that will be the operational backbone of CRISP POWER’S supply chain. You will own the direct relationships with our co-manufacturers and fulfillment partners, ensuring product flows seamlessly from production to shelf and to our customers' doors. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role for an operator who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, knows how to build scalable systems, and holds partners accountable to the same standards we hold ourselves.
You will report directly to the Director of Operations and work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Marketing to align supply chain execution with our commercial goals. If you are energized by building from a strong foundation and scaling it to the next level, this role is for you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Co-Manufacturer & Fulfillment Partner Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship owner for all co-manufacturing and fulfillment partners.
- Oversee day-to-day production workflows, ensuring alignment with production schedules, capacity plans, and quality standards.
- Drive co-manufacturer accountability across yield, scheduling, on-time delivery, and cost performance.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new co-packers and suppliers as the brand scales into new SKUs and channels.
- Manage 3PL relationships, monitoring service levels, resolving fulfillment issues, and optimizing logistics processes.
- Conduct regular business reviews with manufacturing and fulfillment partners, establishing KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
Inventory and Warehouse Management
- Maintain accurate inventory levels across all nodes: raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods.
- Develop and execute inventory planning strategies that balance service levels with working capital efficiency.
- Monitor stock positions, analyze consumption trends, and adjust supply plans to mitigate out-of-stock and obsolescence risk.
- Oversee end-of-month inventory reconciliation, ensuring financial and operational accuracy.
- Partner with Sales and Finance to align inventory plans with promotional calendars, new item launches, and seasonal demand.
Quality Assurance & Food Safety
- Lead and own the Quality & Food Safety Program for all externally manufactured Crisp Power products.
- Oversee QC/QA of components and finished goods, ensuring every production run meets our strict standards for taste, texture, protein content, and macro accuracy.
- Establish and enforce supplier quality agreements, audit protocols, and corrective action processes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable food safety regulations (SQF, FSMA, HACCP) and retailer-specific requirements.
- File and manage claims or disputes with co-manufacturers and logistics partners in a timely manner.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operational Excellence
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to align supply chain execution with new product launches, promotions, and channel expansions.
- Collaborate with Finance on inventory valuation, landed cost analysis, and operational performance metrics.
- Build and maintain BOMs, component records, UPCs, and SKU master data.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, production workflows, and supply chain documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs, improve lead times, and optimize efficiency across the supply chain.
