Location: Remote Work (Riverside residency required)
Training: First six months of training is at our downtown Riverside office daily, Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm. After, you will be released to work fully remote from home.
A great opportunity has opened within our established investigative firm. RJN Investigations is a private investigative company specializing in video surveillance, activity checks, and other SIU services related to Workers’ Compensation and insurance investigations.
We are currently seeking an experienced Research Analyst to join our team.
Position Overview
The Research Analyst plays a vital role in supporting live field investigations and internal case development. This position works remotely from home and requires strong internet research skills, the ability to navigate social media, strong report writing and typing skills, and the discipline to manage multiple case files throughout the workday.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct social networking and database searches in support of investigative operations.
- Prepare clear, concise written reports.
- Update case management system according to departmental guidelines.
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, and employers to obtain necessary case information (“intel”).
- Enter new assignments into the case management system.
- Review and summarize surveillance film.
- Log, label, and process incoming/outgoing court evidence.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Some Saturday work is required as needed.
Requirements
- Must have five years of report writing and typing skills.
- Significant internet, web‑based research, and computer literacy.
- Ability to navigate multiple social media platforms proficiently.
- Ability to manage a fast-paced workload and meet production timelines.
- Strong multitasking capabilities, including on-the-spot research requests for active field investigations.
- Typing speed of 35+ WPM.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general internet usage.
- Excellent grammar and writing skills.
- Must pass a thorough background check.
- Must reside in Riverside California and be able to work remotely.
