Location: Del Mar – Carmel Valley, California
Pay: $20–$24 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Flexible, part-time to start; hours vary based on family needs

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, energetic caregiver/companion to support a high-functioning, active young adult with disabilities who lives with family in a private home in Del Mar–Carmel Valley.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle, community engagement, outdoor activities, and helping others live their best life with dignity, independence, and purpose.
Responsibilities
* Accompany client to recreational activities and community outings
* Beach walks, parks, field trips, and local events
* Transportation to medical appointments and scheduled activities
* Provide companionship, encouragement, and social engagement
* Assist with organization and daily routines as needed
* Support participation in hobbies, learning opportunities, and community involvement
* Communicate with family regarding schedules and activities
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior caregiving, companion care, special needs, behavioral health, or disability support experience preferred
* Positive attitude and dependable character
* Excellent communication skills
* Comfortable with an active, community-based lifestyle
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
* Clean driving record
* CPR/First Aid certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
