Serrafin Master Builders is a commercial general contractor based in Ponte Vedra, serving Northeast Florida from Jacksonville to Palm Coast. We build spaces for office, healthcare, restaurant and religious clients. Our backlog is growing, our team is family-oriented, and we run our jobsites and our office the same way: with respect, accountability, and a commitment to doing the work right.
This position is a high-trust, high-impact role for someone who is ready to own projects end-to-end, work directly with ownership, and help shape how we scale.
About the Role
You will manage multiple commercial projects ranging from $1 to 5 million, ranging from tenant improvements to ground-up builds. You will partner with a dedicated superintendent on each project and own the financial, contractual, and client outcomes. You will work closely with the owner, the operations manager, and the executive assistant in a small, tight-knit office where good ideas move quickly.
What You Will Do
• Own project budgets, schedules, subcontracts, and client relationships from preconstruction through closeout
• Lead buyout: scope writing, sub solicitation, bid leveling, negotiation, and subcontract execution
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation
• Run owner-architect-contractor (OAC) meetings and serve as the primary client point of contact
• Partner with the superintendent on schedule, sequencing, and field problem-solving
• Track estimate-to-actual variance and protect project margin through disciplined change order capture
• Coordinate with our CPA on project-level financial reporting and forecasting
• Help build out the systems and standards that will support our continued growth
Who We Are Looking For
• 5–8 years of project management experience with a commercial general contractor
• Demonstrated experience running tenant improvement and/or ground-up commercial projects in the $500K–$3M range
• Strong command of construction contracts, buyout, scheduling, and cost control
• Comfort working directly with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Proficiency with Procore a must. Optional experience with Bluebeam, MS Project and Microsoft Office a benefit.
• Familiarity with the Florida Building Code and Northeast Florida permitting (Jacksonville, St. Johns County, Flagler County) is strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent field-to-office experience
• A clean driving record and the ability to be on jobsites multiple times per week
Option Experience Items
• Medical, dental, or veterinary tenant improvement experience
• Restaurant or food-service buildout experience
• Ground-up shell and site work experience in Florida
• LEED, OSHA-30, or other relevant certifications
