Position Summary
As an Assembly Technician, you will assist in the fabrication and assembly of complex aircraft interior components while ensuring all products meet strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble aircraft interior components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Install hardware, screws, rivets, seals, wiring, upholstery, and other assembly components.
Mix and apply adhesives, silicone sealants, and edge fillers as required.
Cut, fit, bond, and fasten materials using hand tools, drills, riveters, and other production equipment.
Verify dimensions and ensure proper installation of fittings, inserts, and hardware.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on production tools and equipment.
Complete work orders, production records, and traceability documentation accurately.
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Inspect parts and report defects or quality concerns promptly.
Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
Assist with moving materials, loading/unloading parts, and supporting various production operations.
Organize tools and request materials from the stockroom as needed.
Perform additional production and housekeeping duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous assembly, manufacturing, aerospace, or production experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, drills, and measuring instruments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Dependable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious.
