Established 36-year-old freight brokerage based in Anaheim, CA, is seeking an experienced Freight Dispatcher / Logistics Operations professional.
We are looking for someone with experience in freight brokerage, transportation, or logistics who can manage daily freight operations, carrier communication, tracking, scheduling, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Include:
• Dispatching and coordinating freight shipments
• Communicating with carriers, drivers, and customers
• Tracking and tracing shipments
• Scheduling pickup and delivery appointments
• Resolving transportation and service issues
• Managing daily logistics operations efficiently
Qualifications:
• Freight/logistics experience preferred
• High school diploma required
• 2-year college degree preferred but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with dispatch, freight brokerage, or transportation operations
• Ability to multitask and solve problems quickly
• Experience with TMS systems/load boards is a plus
• Candidates located in Orange County preferred
