The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
- Lead the commercial execution of GAPA growth strategies to increase revenue and market share within the region.
- Coach, mentor, and develop 7 field sales representatives. Train and develop excellence in time and territory management, account planning, and disciplined sales execution.
- Identify key growth drivers, new business opportunities, and territory expansion priorities.
- Manage forecasting, pipeline health, and performance rhythm with strong use of Salesforce CRM.
- Conduct joint field rides, key account reviews, and capability development aligned with business targets.
- Enable Cross-Functional Collaboration by partnering with Channel, Portfolio/Marketing, Application Engineering, and Customer Operations teams to drive aligned regional execution.
- Coordinate and facilitate end-user pull through and value realization.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to grow the business together and instill loyalty.
Your Skills and Expertise
- Sales experience, specifically customer focused selling skills
- Market segment analysis to stratify existing & new target customer base
- Cross functional leadership including NPI hopper development & prioritization
- Experience in the Automotive Industry (OEM, Aftermarket, Dealership)
- Financial acumen, influence, value communicating, expert presentation skills
- Channel management and selling skills experience with ability to develop account business plans based on priorities that will exceed forecasts over a sustained period.
- Selling through specification programs (spec-based business)
- Strong analytical skills including the use of Salesforce/CRM systems, Microsoft Power BI/Salesdesk, excel and PowerPoint
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Seven (7) years of sales or marketing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution
- Previous sales management or people leadership experience
- Skills include marketing, sales, or strategic planning
Work location:
- Work location: Remote. Can work anywhere in the Central Region.
- Travel: May include up to 50% domestic
- Relocation: May be authorized
