Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our exceptional team!
📍 Service Area:
We provide care throughout San Diego County , including rural and unincorporated areas. You
can choose to work in your preferred region:
● East County
● North County
● South Bay
● Beach Communities
● Mid-City
We are flexible and will build your schedule around your availability and preferred travel
areas .
💼 Position Details:
As an LVN with Alpha Plus, you’ll deliver direct, hands-on patient care under the supervision of
a Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will include:
● Administering prescribed care and treatments
● Monitoring and recording vital signs
● Assessing home environments for safety
● Educating patients and families
● Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team
● Documenting care and communication in a timely and accurate manner
● Reporting changes in patient condition to healthcare providers
● Using equipment and supplies safely and effectively
● Participating in ongoing personal and professional development
🩺 Specialized Skills We Value (Training Available for the Right
Candidates):
● Wound Vac Management
● Complex Wound Care
● Tube Feedings (GT, JT) & Tube Management
● Ostomy Care and Teaching
● Foley & Suprapubic Catheter Care
● Diabetes Management & Teaching
● Phlebotomy
✅ Qualifications:
● Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
● Active California LVN license unrestricted and in good standing
● BLS (CPR) Certification – Healthcare Provider level
● Preferable 1 year of acute, medical-surgical, or equivalent experience (home health preferred)
● Willingness to travel locally throughout your selected area
● Valid California driver’s license , registered vehicle, and proof of auto insurance
● Ability to obtain a physician’s health clearance, negative TB test, required
immunizations, and other documentation per California health regulations
● Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
🚗 Additional Information:
● Mileage reimbursement at the current California IRS rate
● Flexible scheduling options : Full-time, Part-time, Per diem
● Work Location: On the road – caring for patients in their homes
