👊 Position Overview
Good Guys Garage Doors is seeking an experienced Lead Garage Door Technician to help drive field performance, technician development, and customer experience.
This is not a management desk job.
This is a working leadership position for a technician who leads from the front, produces at a high level, and helps develop the next generation of technicians.
You will continue running service calls while providing support, training, and guidance to field technicians.

🛠 What You'll Be Doing
Service & Sales
Diagnose and repair residential garage door systems
Spring replacements
Opener installations and troubleshooting
Door sales and system upgrades
Crash door replacements
Full system overhauls
Full door installations
Present repair and replacement options to homeowners
Deliver an exceptional customer experience
Leadership & Training
Assist with onboarding and development of new technicians
Conduct ride-alongs and field coaching
Reinforce company sales and operational processes
Help technicians improve conversion rates, average tickets, and performance
Lead by example through production, professionalism, and accountability
Operational Support
Ensure adherence to company standards and procedures
Assist with quality control and callback reduction
Support field problem-solving when needed
Help maintain a positive, accountable culture

✅ Qualifications
5+ years of garage door industry experience preferred
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
Proven sales and customer communication skills
Experience with residential repair and replacement
Experience training, mentoring, or leading others preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Valid driver's license
Comfortable using tablets and mobile software
Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physical work
Must pass background check and drug screening
