We are a small wholesale gluten-free sourdough bakery looking for positive, hard-working, and reliable individuals to join our production team. We bake variations of delicious gluten-free, allergy-friendly sourdough breads for individuals with special dietary needs and sell them in grocery stores in 7+ different states. Consistency with attendance and punctuality are a must here, as is a positive can-do attitude.
Position and Hours:
Boxing/Palletizing/Ovens/Sanitation/Slicing/Packaging:
Approx 28 - 30+ hours
Monday 10am-6:30/7pm
Tuesday 8am-4:30/5:30pm
Wednesday 8am-4:30/5:30pm
Thursday 7/8am- 12pm+
Primary tasks include: boxing product and building/wrapping pallets, labeling boxes, boxing orders, operating ovens, , loading and de-panning product from ovens, cleaning and sanitation, performing quality checks, loading slicer machine, unloading clipping machine
Pay begins at $19 an hour with some overtime (1.5x) possible.
* This position is somewhat flex based on production schedule. M/T/W are production days, sometimes we only produce 2/3 of the days. Thursday is a packaging and distributor pickup day. Potential for more days and hours per day based on performance, need, and company growth.
All positions include requirements to follow company's Good Manufacturing Practice's, Food Safety Plan/HACCP Plan, hygiene rules, practice legal and safe handling of food and equipment, perform daily and continuous cleaning and sanitation of work spaces, and keep accurate and consistent records/logs.
