We are a small wholesale gluten-free sourdough bakery looking for positive, hard-working, and reliable individuals to join our production team. We bake variations of delicious gluten-free, allergy-friendly sourdough breads for individuals with special dietary needs and sell them in grocery stores in 7+ different states. Consistency with attendance and punctuality are a must here, as is a positive can-do attitude.
Positions and Hours:
Position 1 (approx 18hrs):
Boxing/Palletizing/Ovens
Monday 9am-1pm
Tuesday & Wednesday 8am-1pm
Thursday 7am/8am-11am/12pm
Primary tasks include: boxing product and building/wrapping pallets, labeling boxes, operating ovens, cleaning and sanitation, loading and de-panning product
Pay begins at $19 an hour
Position 2 (approx 18 hours):
Slicing and Packaging
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
1pm - (6:30pm-7:30pm)
Primary tasks include: loading slicer machine, unloading clipping machine, performing quality checks, operating ovens, loading and de-panning product, and cleaning/sanitation.
Pay begins at $19 an hour
* These are production positions, so they occur when we produce product, as needed, which is normally every Mon, Tues, and Wed (plus Thursdays for boxing/palletizing). We have some weeks where we only produce 2 out the three days. Position 2's end time is tied to finishing the day's slicing and packaging of bread, which is why it is listed as a range. Potential for more days and hours per day based on performance, need, and company growth.
All positions include requirements to follow company's Good Manufacturing Practice's, Food Safety Plan/HACCP Plan, hygiene rules, practice legal and safe handling of food and equipment, perform daily and continuous cleaning and sanitation of work spaces, and keep accurate and consistent records/logs.
