Technical Product Manager
What you will be doing:
Technical Product Managers lead the development of software products from conception to release. They work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to define new software features and systems and then plan and lead their development. Key responsibilities include:
• Development and management of one or more software development roadmaps
• Oversee or directly manage projects related to one or more software product products
• Manage development of new software product features from conception to release, including as necessary
requirements elaboration, product design, testing, and documentation
• Work closely with product management, engineering, clinical product, data science and customer-facing teams to deliver value-adding, high-quality released products
• Support technical aspects of customer-facing and sales engagements
• Support continual process development and improvement
Key Responsibilities
Responsibility #1– 50%
Software Product Design and Management of Product Development, Testing, and Release
• Coordinate with product managers, customers, and other stakeholders to define functional requirements for software product features
• Work with engineers to specify technical details / requirements for product features
• Plan and ensure timely performance of design review and development in close coordination with engineering leads
• Work with applicable team members (such as technical product engineers and QA analysts) to define, plan, and complete user acceptance testing
• Support the development and publication of documentation for new software features and products
Responsibility #2 – 30%
Software Development Roadmap
• Work with product managers and other stakeholders to define and quantify the value of new products and features for a given software product
• Coordinate with engineers and other team members to conduct risk, feasibility, and effort estimates for new software products and features
• Communicate roadmaps to all stakeholders, including when applicable changes to those roadmaps
Responsibility #3 – 10%
Sales and Customer Support
Troubleshoot and manage the timely resolution of software defects
Support configuration work related to software product installation and maintenance
Support security reviews, technical education, and product demonstrations during sales and implementation processes

Required Qualifications
Work Experience:
Years of Applicable Experience - 5 or more years
Education:
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Preferred Qualifications
Skills:
API design and testing
Database design and basic SQL query skills
Workflow analysis and diagramming
Software design and documentation
Experience:
Use of artificial intelligence tools in design and testing processes
Design of software systems that include artificial intelligence components
Experience in healthcare operations and/or health subject matter

Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $90,000 - $150,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
