Job Description Summary:
The Director, PBM Strategy within the Market Access team is responsible for mapping out and developing key relationships with large, medium, and small PBMs, including assisting in the development of value propositions, contracting and rate standardization, and managing contracts. This role should develop Option Care Health’s strategies on a 1 to 2 year horizon for PBMs, including contracting for specific Specialty Pharmacy needs, as well as the national expansion of medical groups.

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)
- Develop, cultivate relationships, and drive execution of strategy for PBMs, including the development of strategy for partnerships with small and medium PBMs.
- Evaluate, negotiate, and execute Specialty Pharmacy contracts where applicable, in conjunction with Any Willing Provider strategies with the Operations Team.;
- Cross-Functionally work to develop standardized contracting terms and conditions, as well as pricing levels, for PBMs, including Specialty Pharmacy contracting within PBMs.
- Develop and drive execution of PBM strategies, including identification of key value points for PBMs, development of value messaging and materials, and implementation.
- Develop a deep understanding of PBM processes for key therapeutic categories and act as an educator to the rest of the organization.
- Assist in the expansion of Medical Group strategy nationally where applicable

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- 15+ Years of Experience within the healthcare industry, preferably within sales/market access functions
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects to deliver results as a high performing team
- Proven ability to develop and execute on a strategy
- Proven ability to develop relationships at accounts

- Masters degree or other advanced degree
Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:
Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Pay Range is $126,505.85-$210,858.08
