The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive leverages targeted geographic analysis, engages with Physician offices to influence physicians to route patients' specialty drug prescriptions to Humana Specialty Pharmacy for fulfillment. The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive focuses on increasing orders to Humana Pharmacy, resulting in increased prescriptions and revenues.
You will spend time building relationships on front office to back office medical clinic sales calls within the territory and provide staff education and information on options for patient use of Specialty Pharmacy medications.
The sales territory includes Seattle, Spokane, Takoma, Bellingham, Lakewood Washington areas

Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working in sales with documented success
- Experience working in a healthcare setting and/or managed care environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team environment
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partnering business segments
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Must be comfortable with daily travel and approx. 70% of time
- This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
- Your driving record will be evaluated as part of a third party background check and certain types or combinations of infractions may affect your eligibility for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Pharmacy reporting or the Pharmaceutical industry
- Self-motivation
- Bachelor’s degree/Equivalent Experience
- Exposure to pharmaceutical contracting language
- Specialty Pharmacy or Managed Care experience preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish--ability to read, write and speak both languages fluently

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$84,700 - $115,500 per year
This job is eligible for a commission incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
