This Project Management Lead to provide strategic leadership and direction on enterprise-level projects. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor and thought leader, responsible for ensuring delivery excellence across multiple, complex initiatives. This position will play a critical role in advancing Humana’s technology and business transformation objectives by aligning project management practices with organizational goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop project management teams on best practices, adherence to processes, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the full project portfolio lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Establish and maintain rigorous project management standards within large initiatives in alignment with PM, Agile methodologies and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify business needs, define project scope, and ensure clear project ownership.
- Monitor and report on project performance using key metrics such as adherence, cycle times, lead times, and risk load.
- Guide risk identification, mitigation strategies, and facilitate resolution of high-impact issues.
- Foster a culture of quality, speed, and agility in project delivery, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and internal policies
- Serve as an advisor to executive leadership on program status, risks, resource needs, and opportunities for innovation.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive project management experience, including large-scale, cross-functional, and technical projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and Agile delivery frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams, influence without authority, and drive organizational change.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project management tool
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree preferred
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification highly desirable.
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture, security, data governance, and disaster recovery practices.
- Additional Information
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$115,200 - $158,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
