The Senior Finance Manager – Income Statement provides financial leadership and analytical support across all Indirect Functions. This role ensures strong cost control, accurate forecasting, and alignment with corporate objectives while driving continuous improvement in financial planning and reporting processes. By serving as a trusted advisor to functional leaders, this position enhances financial accountability and supports enterprise-wide cost efficiency and productivity initiatives.
As a Senior Finance Manager – Income Statement, you will be responsible for:
· Leading and coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles for Indirect Functional Costs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with corporate guidance.
· Ensuring standardization, simplification, and streamlining of FP&A processes, tools, and monthly operating rhythms.
· Preparing and presenting monthly cost reviews, variance analyses, outlooks, and risks & opportunities to FP&A and Functional leadership.
· Ensuring robust quarter-close reporting of Indirect Costs, including allocations, adjustments, and insightful commentary.
· Serving as a trusted financial advisor to Functional Leaders to enhance decision-making and drive financial accountability.
· Translating business drivers into financial impacts, providing insights into cost behavior, trends, and optimization opportunities.
· Supporting functional strategy by evaluating organizational changes, investments, resource planning, and long-term cost implications.
· Leveraging big data, analytics, and systems such as CFIN/SAP, Anaplan, and other tools to automate reporting and improve visibility of cost drivers.
To be successful in this role you will:
· Have a degree-level education or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; a professional qualification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
· Have significant experience in FP&A, financial controlling, or finance business partnering within a complex, global organization.
· Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
· Have advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools, including SAP/CFIN, Anaplan, Excel, and data visualization platforms.
· Have excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
· Have a proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Have experience driving process improvement, automation, and standardization within finance operations.
· Having experience in industrial, energy, or manufacturing sectors is advantageous.
