Terra Bella Nursery is seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team in San Diego. We are a growing company with multiple businesses and locations, and we are looking for a strong accounting professional to help oversee our financial operations.
This position is in-office only and is available as either full-time or part-time, depending on experience and availability.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly financial statements
Oversee accounting and bookkeeping operations across multiple companies
Manage corporate and personal tax filings and coordination for all entities
Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance
Review general ledger activity, reconciliations, and internal controls
Assist ownership with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Coordinate with outside vendors, banks, and tax agencies as needed
Help improve processes, and reporting structure
Identify opportunities for tax savings, operational efficiencies, and financial improvements
Qualifications
Active CPA license preferred
Strong experience with multi-entity business accounting
Strong knowledge of corporate tax laws, compliance, and financial reporting
Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
Ability to analyze financial data and provide practical business recommendations
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
