Research Analyst | Houston, TX
The Research Analyst is an execution-focused role responsible for maintaining market data, producing recurring research deliverables, and supporting brokers and clients with timely, accurate market intelligence. This role is critical to ensuring data integrity and consistency across reports and internal tools.
What You’ll Be Working On
Data & Reporting Execution
- Collect, validate, and maintain local market data (vacancy, rental rates, comps, ownership changes) using CoStar and internal systems
- Produce recurring market reports and dashboards with a high degree of accuracy and consistency
- Prepare charts, tables, maps, and visuals for internal and client-facing use
Ad-Hoc & Broker Support
- Respond to standard research requests from brokers and internal teams (submarket comps, basic trend pulls, rate summaries)
- Maintain internal research databases and ensure information is current and dependable
Collaboration
- Work closely with senior research team members to support larger reports and initiatives
- Partner with marketing and brokerage teams to support pitches and client deliverables
What You’ll Have
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, real estate, finance, analytics, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in research, analytics, or data-focused roles (CRE preferred)
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with CoStar or similar databases preferred
- High attention to detail and comfort working with structured data
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple requests
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
