TRC is seeking an IT Support Specialist for our client in Tucker, Ga
Position Summary
Our client is a global technology organization specializing in energy distribution systems, cable management solutions, lighting, automation, and industrial technologies.
We’re searching for a high-energy IT Support Specialist who enjoys solving problems, supporting end users, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. In this role, you’ll serve as a key technical resource for U.S. operations while collaborating closely with a global IT team, gaining valuable international exposure and broad technical experience.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver fast, friendly, and effective IT support to U.S.-based team members.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals. Support and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, including Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Provide basic support for firewalls, VPN connectivity, switches/routers, and wireless networks.
- Manage IT inventory, including device tracking, registration, deployment, and retirement.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives and assist with policy implementation.
- Collaborate with global IT and Information Security teams to maintain standardized processes.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
- Provide basic IT training and guidance to help users work efficiently and securely.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on IT support or helpdesk experience. Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and enterprise email environments.
- Foundational networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- Experience with hardware installation, setup, and repair.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Positive, proactive mindset with a strong customer-service approach and ownership mentality.
