Job Opening: Assistant / Driver / Handyman
Seeking a reliable, hands-on assistant to support a homeowner with day-to-day tasks and an ongoing home-building project.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving homeowner to appointments, errands, and job sites
Assisting with a custom home-building project
General help around the property and workshop
Light carpentry (measuring, cutting, basic assembly, using common tools)
Light plumbing (fixture swaps, small repairs, assisting with installs)
Light electrical (outlet/switch changes, basic wiring assistance, under supervision/within code limits)
Organization of tools, materials, and work areas
Occasional runs to hardware stores and suppliers
Optional: Helping with dogs (transport to veterinary appointments, occasional care and handling)
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Punctual, trustworthy, and able to follow directions
Comfortable with basic hand and power tools
Physically able to lift, carry materials, and be on your feet for extended periods
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred (Not Required):
Experience in construction or home renovation
Comfortable around dogs and animals in general
Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
