A small surplus equipment reselling business is in need of a Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving, and Packing person, either full or part time, between 8am to 5:00pm weekdays.
Previous warehouse, packing, shipping, carpentry, and forklift experience preferred.
We need a sharp and teachable quick learner who is capable of following instructions and working without supervision.
Candidate will need to custom box, pack, and ship items, as well as operate a forklift, and be capable of using or learning how to use hand and small power tools to custom build crating (generally 3 to 5 freight items needing to be shipped weekly, plus packaging of daily items to ship UPS, USPS, or Freight.
We buy and sell surplus equipment, everything from small mailed items to large items needing to be crated.
We do not ship many items daily, but the items we often ship are expensive and sensitive lab equipment which needs to be carefully and thoughtfully packed and shipped. Candidate will need basic computer skills to use a computer for entering shipment info.
As the shipping usually does not take up the full day, we need to have stock put away or received, items to be sold cleaned, and other general warehouse cleaning and organizational assistance.
