As a Armed Security Officer in Chula Vista, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Wh You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-reled procedures, site-specific policies, and when approprie, emergency response activities a financial institution locion.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observions and communicing with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random prols throughout the facility, exterior areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify access credentials, and report suspicious behavior, security-reled concerns, and/or policy violions in accordance with site protocols.
- Perform assigned duties an armed post, maintaining professional bearing and handling authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal standards and applicable post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-reled experience is required.
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigion in accordance with all federal, ste, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applicions with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participe in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to ste and/or local laws and regulions and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
