Our Client is transforming, and the next Director of Indirect Procurement will be a critical Strategic Leader, partnering with Executive Leadership and the Operations Leadership teams across 50+ Global Sites. The right candidate will be a dynamic and collaborative leader, who will:
- Lead a large Global Team of Procurement and Sourcing Professionals (Procurement Leadership experience of teams of 25+ is preferred)
- Standardize enterprise-wide Procurement Process that will resonate throughout 50+ locations
- Drive alignment with Ops Leadership, treating the Sites as the valued Primary Customer!
- You Will drive Capital Spend and Plant Service Categories (areas of expertise should include MRO, Facilities, Equipment, QHSE, Lab Supplies, Capital Project Procurement)
- Drive TCO success for 500M in Global Spend.
- Lead Supplier Selection
- Partner with IT and Transformation Leaders to enhance the Indirect Procurement Digitally--simplify processes, increase usability and visibility, optimize Data-Driven Decision Making
Strong candidates for this opportunity will bring strong Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 11+ years of progressive procurement leadership experience in manufacturing, chemicals or heavy-industry environments.
- 6+ years in global indirect procurement leadership in relevant categories; experience with CapEx sourcing strongly preferred.
- Proven success leading large-scale transformation with global teams.
- Strong negotiation skills and analytical prowess.
- Ability to influence Executive leadership and drive change in a matrixed organization.
- Deep understanding of Procurement Processes, Commodity Category Management and how to utilize digital procurement tools.
