Position: Warehouse Associe
Compension: $19.77 per hour
The Merial Handling Agent is responsible for processing, verifying, and shipping merials while maintaining inventory accuracy using warehouse management software. Key duties include loading and unloading freight, conducting cycle counts, labeling shipments, and ensuring compliance with safety and reporting procedures.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Process all aspects of merials using warehouse inventory software
- Label and ship orders according to established procedures for each customer
- Accurely pick and weigh all shipments
- Inspect freight and follow approprie reporting procedures
- Assist with inventory and cycle counts
- Rote and re-stock shelves according to inventory procedures
- Verify all inbound and outbound merials
- Provide prompt and accure customer service
- Arrange and maintain filing and recording systems
- Document monthly activities for period end reporting
- Safely load and unload trailers by utilizing equipment such as hand trucks/pallet jacks and forklifts
- Shrink wrap freight pallets
- Maintain a clean and save working environment
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements & Qualificions:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience of general warehouse knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communicion
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Warehouse Oracle Dabase Experience is a plus
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
- Forklift Certificion preferred
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relionships with employees and managers
