Preschool Teacher (Ages 2–4) | Full-Time | El Cajon, CA
A well-established licensed early childhood program in El Cajon is seeking an experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team in a dedicated preschool classroom serving children ages 2–4.

Position Responsibilities
The Preschool Teacher will:
- Lead and manage a preschool classroom serving children ages 2–4
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum and learning activities
- Maintain active supervision and safe teacher-child ratios at all times
- Support daily routines including meals, nap time, and classroom transitions
- Use positive guidance and reinforcement to support children's social-emotional development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Build warm, professional relationships with children, families, and fellow staff
- Follow all California Title 22 licensing regulations and health and safety procedures

- Have direct experience working in a licensed preschool or childcare center with children ages 2–4

Minimum Qualifications
To be considered, candidates must meet the following:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Completion of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units including:
- Child Development
- Child, Family & Community
- Curriculum or Program Planning
- One additional ECE elective (Health & Safety, Infant/Toddler, or equivalent)
- Minimum 6 months experience in a licensed childcare center, preferably in a preschool-age classroom
- Ability to meet California DSS background clearance requirements
- Proof of required immunizations and TB clearance
- Pediatric CPR/First Aid and Mandated Reporter certification (or willingness to obtain)
Applicants without the required ECE units or licensed childcare experience will not be considered.
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-Time Position
- $21–$24 per hour depending on experience
- Consistent daytime schedule, Monday–Friday

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
