Volt is immediately hiring a Forklift Driver in Buena Park, CA.
As a Forklift Driver, you will:
-Maintain good attendance and a positive work attitude.
-Have knowledge and understanding of all safety guidelines and specific safety hazards associated with position.
-Have knowledge of and use all safety equipment required for the position.
-Good verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to work in a harmonious manner and interact in a cooperative way with supervisors and co-workers.
-Must wear or use all required personal protective equipment.
-Read, understand and adhere to rules and guidelines stated in the Employee Handbook.
-Understand Quality Standards and be able to make reasonable judgments and decisions regarding quality issues.
-Operate a forklift per established safety and work procedures including operator maintenance on the vehicle.
-Assist loading and help with proper banding, blocking, bracing and balancing.
This is a Fulltime opportunity.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00PM - 10:30PM
The ideal candidate will have:
-Ability to work independently.
-Standing for extended periods of time, heavy physical effort (i.e., lifting, pushing, pulling), walking, bending, working in various temperature conditions
-Flexibility for occasional hours during peak season
-Must successfully pass a background check.
-5 years of Forklift experience with Sit-Down and Stand-Up Forklift
Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour DOE
