Position: Mechanical Engineer 1
Description:
The Mechanical Engineer 1 will be responsible for creating and implementing mechanical mechanisms. You will have ownership of your work through the design and may also participate in the manufacturing, testing and integration of systems. Help develop and refine components utilizing design skills, hand calculations and finite element analysis or other modeling tools as needed.

Technical Skills:
• General knowledge of or coursework in manufacturing, design and drawing practices including geometric dimensioning and
tolerancing
• Familiarity with ANSIY14.5 drawings preferred
• Practical understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2009)
• Proficiency in presentation of technical findings
• Proficiency in clear written communication
• Proficiency with mechanical computer aided design (CAD/parametric, modeling)
• Proficiency in deploying academic study such as thermo-dynamics, stress analysis FEA in a practical expedient way
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed 3D designs, generate CAD drawings and related documents, and support manufacturing and assembly of
components
• Support with the development and refining components and subsystems utilizing skills, hand calculations or other modeling
tools

• Ability to develop complex test protocols and interpret data
• Communicate technical assessments and experimental results to specialist and non-specialist audience

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor of science in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace)
• 5 years of applicable professional or educational experience is required
Compensation:
Compensation will be commensurate upon industry standard and level of experience. Based upon strong representation of all skills above, compensation package will be:
