Herb & Sea is hiring for:
Prep Cooks- $20-23 plus tips
Prep Cook: Prioritize and follow prep list that changes daily, communicate with chef on timelines of projects and product needs. Prepare foods by washing/chopping vegetables, cutting meats ect. Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food, all while complying with safety and sanitization guidelines. Availability, 7am-3:30pm, Sunday availability required.
Line Cooks- $20-24 plus tips
Line Cooks- at least 1 year experience in high volume restaurant, completely open availability
Generally PM shifts, 3:00-12:00am
Must follow instruction and prioritize various task
Attention to detail and sanitation standards
Ability to work in hot and humid conditions
Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
