The role of a Branch 3 termite inspector requires a sharp eye and attention to detail. As a termite inspector, you will inspect structures for signs of termites and other wood destroying organisms. You will document your findings using tablet-based software, and generate estimates for the work required to repair the structure. Sales skills are required to be successful in obtaining jobs - and earning commission.
Can you generate your own leads? You get higher commission rates on self-generated leads that you close. All work must be performed professionally and with the highest ethics. Each property must be treated with respect, and findings must be communicated clearly and accurately.
Responsibilities:
Conduct termite inspections and provide accurate assessments of infestations and potential damage.
Write detailed WDO reports using software (including photos).
Present findings to home owners, home buyers, property managers, etc.
Propose various repair options and bid for repairs, fumigation or treatment.
Sell termite control services to clients and follow up on leads.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure excellent customer service.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, treatments, and sales.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years' experience as a termite inspector.
Reasonably strong computer skills. All of the work we do is digital.
Strong knowledge of termite behavior, control and treatment methods.
Experience estimating fumigation variables such as volume, costs, risk to structure.
Familiarity with report writing software and the ability to write WDO reports.
Excellent selling skills with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (bi-lingual a big plus)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Have a secure area to keep company vehicle after hours.
Maintain a professional appearance = Company supplied uniforms.

All applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a Branch 3 license issued by the California Structural Pest Control Board in good standing, be willing to submit to a background check and DMV check. You must possess a valid California driver's license.
Physical requirements:
Due to the nature of the job, candidates must:
Have vision correctable to 20/20
Be able to lift up to 50 Lbs. of equipment such as ladders
Be able to lift items above head (attic scuttles)
Be able to crawl in attics and crawl spaces
Be able to sit and/or stand for long periods
Weigh less than 250 Lbs due to the weight limit of ladders, attic structures
Not be claustrophobic
This is a commission-based job. Pay range for this position is $30/hour plus commission, depending on experience, licenses, and knowledge. Commission is paid in addition to base pay. You also have an opportunity to earn commission on sales of general pest control, attic remediation, termite service contracts, and more.
