Your Impact as a Registered Veterinary Technician
Note: The Registered Veterinary Technician title is used in various stes based on ste-specific licensing and credentialing requirements. Responsibilities may vary depending on the hospital and/or ste and will be outlined by the ste’s Veterinary Practice Act and/or the responsible veterinarian, where applicable.
- Utilize Your Full Skillset: You'll be a vital part of the medical team, providing comprehensive pient care, including administering trements, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
- Be a Leader and Mentor: You’ll guide and support the medical team, ensuring an efficient workflow while mentoring others to help them grow their skills and careers.
- Partner with Clients: You'll be a key point of contact for pet owners, educing them on trements, reviewing medical records, and confidently answering their questions.
- Contribute to a Positive Culture: You'll play an active role in training, providing feedback, and maintaining the high standards of our hospital environment.
Wh You'll Bring to the Team
- Gradue of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- A current ste veterinary technician license (RVT) in good standing.
- Proficiency in a range of technical skills, including nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laborory procedures.
- A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situions.
- Strong communicion skills and a passion for working collaborively.
- One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
