Job description
This is a three-month contract to hire position, if chosen you will need to sign up with Express Pro's Temp Agency in Oxnard.
- 2nd shift 3:30 pm - midnight!
Overview: Coordinates schedules and expedites orders through system.
Responsibilities: The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Interfaces and coordinates customer schedules through Contracts Department.
2. Follows up to ensure schedules are met.
3. Maintains a variety of lists and reports detailing the current status of jobs and notifies the appropriate personnel when production schedules and deliveries are in jeopardy.
4. Ensures special requirements are met on customers' orders with Managers/Supervisors.
5. Coordinates schedule requirements with department Supervisors to ensure employee hours match total production hours on a daily basis.
6. Additional responsibilities and projects, as assigned.
7. Complies with all company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years production experience
- Proficient in MS Office and the ability to create Excel spreadsheets and perform data input and analysis
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think independently and exercise good judgment in the completion of assigned tasks
- Detail oriented and have good reasoning and verbal skills
- Excellent math skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management, production employees and customers
- Bi-lingual preferred
Attendance Requirements:
Ability to work a 40-hour work week, maintain regular attendance and be available to work overtime and Saturdays if needed.
The pay range represents the minimum and maximum rate for this position in California. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed at the lower end of the range.
