Galloway Ridge is an upscale continuing care retirement community offering top-quality care in a warm, welcoming environment, and we are looking for an Arbor Concierge to join our team! The Arbor Concierge will perform general reception and office work to assist the healthcare center staff with clerical activities, communications, and record maintenance. They will exude a wealth of general knowledge about the community for residents and guests.
This position will be Mondays-Thursdays from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Administrative: Assists in the preparation of memos, reports and other documentation. Replaces contents of manuals with revisions as necessary. Keeps current listing of emergency and commonly used telephone numbers. Checks telephone messages, takes and distributes messages, replenishes copy and fax machine with paper and visitors’ labels. Organizes healthcare center’s reception area and work station.
- Resident Services: Assist residents with various requests, answer phone calls, make copies and send faxes for residents. Delivers, collects and sends mail. Delivers flowers, newspapers and other items as necessary. Facilitates dry cleaning delivery and pick-up.
- Guest/Vendor Services: Greets visitors and residents, help them use Envoy to sign in and directs appropriately.
- Facilities: Assist with entering Work Orders. Assist with Life Safety activities: Fire Panel reading during alarm, Wander Guard Alarm Code and access to the elevator.
- Scheduling: Scans Transportation requests from the Nursing staff to Home Care. Submits boxed Breakfast/Lunch order to F&B if needed for outside appointments. Maintain Arbor Salon Schedule.
- All other duties assigned include, but not limited to, enhancing the Resident Experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic Computer Skills
- Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure
- Ability to answer phones and deal with the public in a professional manner
- Provide professional oral and written communication
