Pay: Starting at $18-20/hour + tips (higher pay available for those with leadership experience such as team lead, crew chief, bartenders, or catering captain)

Bekker’s Catering is a well-established catering company serving weddings, corporate events, and private parties throughout San Diego, known for quality service and a strong, reliable team.
Position Overview
This is a combination role supporting both our on-site events and warehouse operations. You’ll help execute events, transport equipment, and keep our operation running smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
Assist with event setup and breakdown
Load and unload catering equipment, rentals, and supplies
Drive company vans, trucks, or box trucks to and from events
Work as part of the event staff/crew during events
Provide friendly, professional service to guests during events
Clean, maintain, and perform minor repairs on equipment
Organize warehouse inventory and supplies
Polish glassware, silverware, and prep items for events
Fold napkins and assist with event prep tasks
Ensure all work is done efficiently, safely, and with attention to detail
Requirements
Must be 25 years or older
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must be able to pass a DMV check
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Weekend availability is required
Must be reliable, punctual, and always ready to work
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50+ lbs)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Must maintain a clean, professional appearance
Work Environment
Work will include time in our warehouse as well as on-site at events
Events may be indoors or outdoors, including working in heat, cold, or rain
Shifts may start early mornings or run late nights depending on event timing
Preferred (but not required)
Previous catering, event, restaurant, or warehouse experience
Experience in a leadership role (team lead, crew chief, catering captain)
Previous commercial driving experience
