Job Title: Camera Support Associate
Employment Type: Part-Time

Reports To: Lead Camera Technician / Sales Manager

Role Overview The
Camera Support Associate will play a key support role between the Camera Department, the Sales Team, and customers. This position provides hands-on technical assistance with camera equipment, supports internal workflows, and delivers clear, professional customer communication related to camera performance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
This role requires a blend of technical aptitude, organization, and customer service, ensuring smooth coordination between departments while helping clients understand and resolve camera-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Hands-On Support
- Perform hands-on tasks including battery testing and breaking down cameras for parts.
- Assist with camera preparation, evaluation, and light technical support as assigned.
Customer & Client Support
- Communicate with customers via email, phone, and in-person regarding camera issues, repairs, and performance concerns.
- Explain common footage issues such as black footage, overexposure, underexposure, shakiness, or mechanical irregularities in a clear, supportive manner.
- Act as a technical resource for customer questions related to camera operation and results.
Repair Documentation & Coordination
- Write up clear, detailed camera repair notes and communicate findings and next steps to clients.
- Coordinate closely with the Sales Team regarding camera inventory status, repairs, and shipping logistics.
- Serve as a liaison between Sales and the Camera Department to ensure accurate information flow and timely follow-ups.
Projects & Process Improvement
- Help organize and improve internal systems for communication between Sales and Camera Technicians.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining repair follow-up processes and tracking systems.
- Participate in other projects as needed- such as film prepping and film packaging
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
- Comfort working hands-on with camera equipment and small mechanical components.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in documenting repairs and customer communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Interest in film cameras, analog workflows, and technical problem-solving preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
