My client is looking for a new Sr. Accountant to join the team. This is an onsite position with a staff of approximately 20 people.
The company provides medical cables and lead wires nationally and they are looking for a Sr. Accountant to join their team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong working knowledge and will be able to manage the financial activities of this small company.
What you will do....
Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards.
Perform necessary duties for accounts payable and accounts receivable
Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscapes.
Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
Additionally, collaborate with external insurance brokers to obtain annual insurance quotes and renewals, and prepare annual reports for the insurance census.
Manage all customer contracts, invoices and collections.
Work with Sales & Operations to minimize late payments
Prepare account analysis, bank and payroll reconciliations, and supporting journal entries and reconcile all balance sheet accounts.
Maintain and oversee inventory cycle counts.
Oversee all disbursements for the Company.
Maintain the existing system of internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred)
7+ years’ experience in an accounting role
Demonstrated experience with budgeting and monthly close processes.
Experienced with Sage
3+years handling A/P and A/R.
Must be able to demonstrate advanced excel skills.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Compensation
Salary is $90,000.00/year.
