This is not your typical INTAKE MANAGER role. If you have the mindset of a closer, the discipline of a professional, and the empathy to guide clients through high-stakes legal decisions, this is not your typical intake role. This is a revenue seat.
At Jacqueline A. Salcines, P.A., we are building a client acquisition engine that treats every prospective client like a priority and every signed case like a responsibility. We are looking for a Sales Dragon who can step in, take ownership, and convert opportunity into retained clients with confidence and integrity.
What This Role Actually Is
You are the first impression and the deciding factor. You are not answering phones. You are driving outcomes. You will speak directly with prospective clients, qualify them, understand their situation, and confidently present legal services in a way that makes sense to them. You will handle objections, build trust quickly, and guide them through the decision to hire the firm. You will close, collect, and move the file forward.
Core Responsibilities
Own the full intake-to-retention pipeline from first call to signed retainer
Qualify and prioritize high-value leads with precision
Confidently present legal services and pricing
Handle objections and convert hesitation into action
Send retainers, collect payments, and ensure proper onboarding
Maintain and follow up with pipeline of non-retained prospects
Manage and elevate the intake clerk to ensure operational consistency
Track metrics, drive performance, and improve conversion rates

You understand urgency, follow-up, and how to move people to a decision
You are comfortable discussing money and asking for the business
You bring empathy to every conversation without losing control of it
You are organized, accountable, and thrive in a performance-based environment
You may be a lawyer who is burnt out from practice or someone who did not pass the bar but knows how to connect, communicate, and close at a high level
You want upside and are motivated by results
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Experience in Client Intake and Customer Service and Sales to manage client inquiries and intake procedures
- Familiarity with the law, litigation
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Proficiency in CLIO office software and database management systems
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a MUST
- Previous experience in a legal or real estate setting is preferred
Compensation Structure
Base plus commission with strong upside tied directly to performance
This is a role where top performers will significantly out-earn traditional intake positions
