Lead Carpenter – Deck Building (Small Family-Owned Business)
Compensation: $35/hr starting | $40/hr after 30 days

Location: San Diego & Orange County (sometimes travel to Sonoma County)
About the Role:
We are a growing, family-owned deck business looking for a Lead Carpenter who wants to do more than just build. We need a "job owner"—someone who supervises the current site while looking ahead to ensure the next job is ready to hit the ground running.
You will work side-by-side with the owner. Beyond the tools, you will be mentored on the business side, including attending customer bidding appointments and learning how to estimate projects. We are looking for a long-term partner to grow with us.
What We Offer:
Top Pay: $35/hr to start, moving to $40/hr after a 30-day successful probation.

Requirements:Proven Experience:
Extensive background in carpentry (framing and decking preferred).
The "Foreman" Mindset: Ability to run a crew and anticipate material/labor needs 2-3 days in advance.
Reliability: Must have your own professional tools and a valid Driver’s License.
Legal: Must be a U.S. Citizen with verifiable documentation for payroll.
Work Ethic: Not afraid of hard work and outdoor conditions.
