Role Description
The Vice President of Finance is a full-time, on-site leadership role located in Sarasota, FL. The role is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial strategy, operations, planning, and analysis for the organization. Key responsibilities include driving financial performance, preparing budgets, managing financial forecasts, monitoring compliance with financial regulations, and providing recommendations to senior executives for operational improvements and risk management. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, fostering a strong financial culture, and ensuring optimal resource allocation will be essential to success in this role.

- Expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data and trends
- Leadership experience in managing finance teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
- Thorough knowledge of financial compliance, accounting standards, and regulations
- Proficiency in financial software systems and tools
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage risk, drive cost efficiencies, and support revenue growth strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA/CPA preferred
- Experience in real estate, homebuilding, or construction industries is a significant plus
