A small property management company is looking for an Assistant Property Manager/And/or/Accounting Assistant to assist broker. This is for part-time. Approximately 25 hours per week and some weekends required-for the PM Assistant. More than likely this position will transition to full time. Should be flexible with remote working environment; so person should have a working pc, printer, fax, (all the required business equipment). Must live in San Diego.
Some required duties for PM Assistant:
Showing upcoming and vacant units, homes & condos.
Assisting residents and clients with service requests.
Creating on-line advertising for available rental properties
Processing applications
Creating and maintaining digital files.
Handling all maintenance service requests & follow up
Organizing all digital and paper files
Drafting rental agreements
Assisting owner with daily management tasks as needed
Minimum Requirements:
Five years of multi-site management
Superb customer service oriented
Strong administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates superior work ethic, high sense of urgency and commitment to high levels of quality and accuracy
Extremely detailed oriented
Ability to assess and prioritize
Able to multi-task
Minimum Five Years of professional property management required (management of your own property is excluded).
For Accounting Assistant requirements:
Be familiar with property management software or cloud based third party applications such as AppFolio, Yardi or other property management platforms.
Be able to perform bank reconciliations for multiple trust accounts.
Be able to assist with old/unreconciled entries
Having a high-level of property management accounting procedures and DRE accounting compliance, would be especially helpful.
