Recruiting Lead | Nox Metals | Detroit, MI
You will:
- Own recruiting end to end across software, operations, supply chain, sales, factory floor, and leadership
- Hold a high bar on every hire, every role, every shift, no exceptions
- Be the cultural firewall, every candidate you advance is aligned with the mission and the way Nox operates
- Source relentlessly across inbound, outbound, and referrals, build warm pipelines before roles open
- Run intake, screening, debriefs, and offers, you own the loop end to end
- Close like an operator, you do not let great people slip
- Walk the floor regularly so you can recruit operators, drivers, and shift leads as well as engineers
You should be:
- Strong recruiting track record, in-house or agency, hiring exceptional people across functions
- Famous for your bar, the people you have hired are still the best people on the teams they joined
- Deeply aligned with our culture, mission, and standards, this is non-negotiable
- Comfortable hiring across the full Nox spectrum, software engineers, operators, drivers, shift leads, sales, executives
- Cracked with AI tools, ATS, and recruiting data, you run a pipeline like an operator
- Sharp with numbers, you run pipelines and conversion rates like a sales leader runs a forecast
- High agency, low ego, customer obsessed (your customers are hiring managers and candidates)
- Organized, fast, and relentless under pressure
- Committed to safety on the floor when you are recruiting on it
- Not afraid to work outside normal hours when America demands it
- Never says "that's not my job"
Nice to have:
- Recruiting at an early-stage technology, manufacturing, defense, or industrial company
- Experience hiring across both blue collar and technical roles
- Network in Detroit, the broader Midwest, and the American manufacturing and defense ecosystem
- Comfortable using AI tools to work faster and smarter
This role is full time, in person in Detroit.
