The Senior Graphic Designer creates relevant, engaging, and industry-leading graphics and designs, both print and digital, to support the brand. This role leverages advanced AI creative tools to accelerate production and personalize content while maintaining high-fidelity brand standards. 50% of this position will be spent on the creation of materials to support Marketing and 50% will be spent on ideation and development of design assets to help grow/support our wholesale business. This individual has experience following creative direction, understanding design strategy, creating marketing assets using video and photography, and possesses basic web development skills.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Designs digital, print, video and photographic marketing materials, including in-store displays and signage, digital communications, and wholesale materials to support the brand.
- Utilizes Generative AI tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or similar) to conceptualize and produce high-quality brand assets, custom backgrounds, and visual elements.
- Works with Marketing team on creation of customer communications, PowerPoint presentations, instore materials, POS displays, advertising (traditional, digital, and OOH), and packaging/label design.
- Develops and refines AI-driven copy and messaging variations to align with specific campaign goals and brand voice across digital channels.
- Manages graphic needs including creating sell sheets, brochures, event/tradeshow graphics, instore displays, and other deliverables for Wholesale team.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple projects within design specifications, ensuring all deliverables meet Company brand standards.
- Maintains "Brand-Safe" AI workflows, ensuring all generated content is ethically sourced, legally compliant, and free of typical AI artifacts.
- Reviews/proofs final pieces for any errors to ensure all products meet Company quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Manages implementation of a digital asset management (DAM) site, from identifying vendors through setup with all needed brand assets.
- Performs advanced retouching, image manipulation, and AI-assisted upscaling to ensure visual consistency across all media types.
- Communicate any necessary changes with Creative Director/Marketing Director for final approval.
- Compliant with Company SOPs and state regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area; follow applicable safety guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor’s degree in a design field required.
- 5-7 years' experience as a graphic designer in CPG, agency, or related industry.
- Proven proficiency in AI-assisted design workflows, including prompt engineering for visual assets and text-to-image generation.
- Must be highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), including integrated AI features (Generative Fill, etc.), and Microsoft 365.
- Basic knowledge of user experience required.
- Must have digital portfolio showcase demonstrating a mix of traditional design and AI-enhanced creative work.
- Must possess expert knowledge of layouts, print design, printing methods, and following/expanding upon brand guidelines.
- Experience with Mailchimp, Wordpress, Hootsuite, and other digital asset management sites preferred.
- Experience with AI writing tools (e.g., Jasper, Writer, or similar) for marketing copy assistance is a plus.
- Packaging design, illustration, and/or photography experience a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations.
- Must have reliable transportation.
