We are a precision CNC Machine shop looking for a motivated Machinist to join our team. We offer competitive pay, excellent benefits, and plenty of room for advancement.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC mills both vertical and horizontal (HAAS equipment experience preferred).
Perform machining operations including cutting, drilling, millings and reaming.
Read and interpret blueprints (GD&T knowledge required).
Load and run programs, monitor displays and adjust as needed.
Change cutting tools, adjust setups and measure parts to ensure conformance.
Use precision inspection tools, calipers, micrometers, gage pins, and dial indicators.
Troubleshoot and communicate program/machine issues to supervisors/programmers.
May perform limited conventional machining.
Follow all shop safety rule and keep work areas clean.
Must be willing and able to work overtime when needed.
Accurately and consistently interact with our ERP system. We are a paperless shop.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, technical training, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience in a shop environment or a Certificate from a Technical CNC training program.
Proficiency with GD&T and blueprint reading.
Strong math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment with PPE
Reliable, detailed oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
