Job Summary and Qualifications
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the PCTassiststhe nursing staff in providing patient carein accordance withthe PCT’s skills/training and the needsof thedepartment, andconsistentlyassiststhe patient care team withmaintaininga clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment. The PCTcomplies withall hospital policies/procedures andobservesthe State Board of Nursing rules for unlicensed personnel.

Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility in East Ridge. Weprovidea full range of medical and surgical services. These services include orthopedics and robotic surgery. We have a 24/7 Emergency Department. This ED is recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center. The facility also offers obstetrical care and complex gynecological procedures. We also hold a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Specialized providers in the NICU include neonatologists, neonatalnursesand respiratory therapists.These staff are on site at all times.Visit us for excellent general and OB care!
