ABOUT THE JOB
Wilson Daniels is seeking a highly motivated IT specialist. The IT specialist will be responsible for providing support for the end-users in identifying and resolving issues. This will include but is not limited to, issue logging, issue tracking, and issue resolution. This position is based out of New York, NY and will report to Wilson Daniels' Director of IT.
THE DAY-TO DAY
- Serves as a central point of contact for user issues and concerns related to end-user support for hardware and software issues
- Field, document, monitor, and resolve service requests from users
- Manages open tickets utilizing the ticket management system and follow up with all users
- Answers emails for end-user issues/requests within a reasonable response time
- Ships and receives laptops and other equipment daily
- Provides comprehensive troubleshooting and issue resolution for service requests, either over the phone and walk-ins
- Helps define and communicate IT support policy and procedures
- Adheres to all turnaround times/dates
- Continuously expands knowledge of IT support to provide current and relevant advice to the company
- Office 365 administration using PowerShell.
- Administers User Profiles to company Intranet and supplier website administration.
- Configure new and loaner laptops within the 72-hour turnaround time
- Administrative duties include but not limited to; tracking assets for company, checklist, and daily task
- Provide remote support with RRM solutions SuperOps/Ninja
- All other duties assigned
AM I THE RIGHT FIT?
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an issue resolution desktop or helpdesk support role
- Experience in Microsoft desktop/server software and applications
- Experience with hardware maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) environment
- Be able to work in a face paced multi-tasked/multi-Site environment
- Ability to function independently and take initiative
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work in an organized manner and with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
