ob Title: IT Support Specialist – K–12 School District
Location: New York
We are seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist with experience in a K–12 school district environment. The ideal candidate will have strong device management, helpdesk administration, and hardware troubleshooting experience, particularly within Apple and ChromeOS ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer helpdesk ticketing systems (SolarWinds or similar).
- Deploy, support, and maintain Apple devices using JAMF (Jamf Pro, Jamf Admin, Jamf Remote).
- Support and troubleshoot MacBooks, Chromebooks, and ChromeOS environments.
- Lead district-wide device deployment initiatives.
- Provide hardware repair and diagnostics for laptops and desktops.
- Support Windows environments (Windows 7/10) and assist with L1/L2 helpdesk issues.
- Handle installations, upgrades, system updates, and compliance checks.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in a K–12 school district or education environment.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across Apple, Chromebook, and Windows devices.
- Ability to work independently and manage site-level IT responsibilities.
