This role is an IT Helpdesk Engineer providing frontline technical support to both internal users and external clients as part of a global support team. This role supports a hybrid IT environment (including Azure and Citrix), handles day to day service requests and escalations, and contributes to infrastructure stability through troubleshooting, monitoring, and problem management. The role requires solid IT support experience, strong communication skills, and a service focused, proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
This role will be office based 4 days a week, with 1 day a week working from home.
What will you be doing?
The Engineer’s day-to-day activities may include, but are not limited to:
• Thin Client issues (Wyse/Dell) via management portal
• Various MFP related issues and troubleshooting
• Okta / Login issues, Citrix issues, Password resets
• Starters, Leavers, Moves/Changes as per procedure
• Email tasks, forwards, distribution lists etc
• Shipping equipment (Laptops, Printers, etc)
• RCC (ERP) tickets (Note apart from some basic tasks in the ERP, passwords, printers etc. these tickets will all be escalated)
• Provide technical support in a hybrid infrastructure environment including Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
• Support management of Virtual machines, Virtual networks, Network security groups, etc
• Technical fault analysis and troubleshooting of Azure VM hosted business systems
• Undertake root cause analysis of incidents and follow up through the Problem Management processes to ensure identified remedial actions are undertaken to prevent further reoccurrence
Who are we looking for?
• Service minded attitude
• Previous IT support experience and good understanding of Windows, Mac OS, IOS and Android, Wyse/Dell
• Understanding of Azure, MDM, Office365 and Teams
• Experience with Citrix is desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of troubleshooting
• A customer centric approach, with a can-do attitude taking care of practical issues around the office
• Excellent spoken and written English
