PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research.

General Description
The individual in this position is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of hardware and software used across supported agencies. This role serves as a liaison between end users and the Information Technology Department, providing technical support for both hardware and software issues. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and ongoing maintenance, including network and phone support where applicable. When necessary, the individual will collaborate with the EHR and network teams. The position includes participation in an after-hours on-call rotation following the initial 90-day period. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment are required. The individual in this position is expected to report to one of the IT offices daily.

Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for agency PC and end user IT equipment tracking and inventory management.
- Provides troubleshooting and technical support for computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices for PCs and other IT Department equipment across all agencies. .
- Installs, configures, and maintains computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Answers the Help Desk line and responds promptly to Help Desk requests and service tickets.
- Travels to remote locations when necessary to resolve technical issues or install equipment.
- Diagnoses and resolves hardware and software problems; repairs issues or assesses the extent of problems that may require outside vendor support and/or additional travel.
- Assists in maintaining current agency hardware and software standards.
- Assists in maintaining agency security standards and related software tools.
- Performs all other related job duties as assigned.

Required Education And Experience
- Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Previous Help Desk or IT support experience preferred.
- Familiarity in deployment of endpoint security tools, patch management, and antivirus software.
- Ability to Pass a Florida level II background check ( https://info.flclearinghouse.com ) and drug screening.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Experience providing technical support for Windows-based systems, hardware, and peripherals.
- Working knowledge of basic networking concepts, software installation, and system imaging.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of telecommunications (VOIP) a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to accurately document IT processes and maintain up-to-date asset inventory records.
Licenses, Certifications Or Registrations
- Technical Certification(s) is desirable (MCP, A+, CC, or ITF+).
- Bachelors degree in in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Possession of a valid Florida drivers license.

Environmental Conditions
