Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Help Desk Specialist based in NYC, NY, with opportunities for partial remote work. The Help Desk Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring and managing user accounts, and resolving customer or internal IT concerns. Other duties include maintaining documentation, escalating complex technical issues, and ensuring a timely response to support requests to enhance user satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in IT troubleshooting, user account configuration, and IT service management tools
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, operating systems, and networking
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to provide technical support to a diverse user base
- Organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various support requests effectively
- Prior experience in a help desk or IT support role is preferred
- Certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or relevant technical certifications is a plus
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, splitting time between the NYC, NY office and remote work
- May require travel to client locations (out of state), paid for by employer (25%).
