Position OverviewThe Mission Integrator serves as a critical connector across operational, technical, and stakeholder environments-ensuring mission objectives are translated into executable plans, synchronized across teams, and delivered with precision. This role drives alignment between customer requirements, operational priorities, program resources, and mission execution, providing structured coordination and real-time integration support to ensure mission success.
The Mission Integrator operates in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment, interfacing directly with government stakeholders, mission planners, operators, technical teams, and program leadership to enable successful outcomes across multi-domain mission sets.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Mission Integrator will:
- Integrate mission requirements across operational, technical, intelligence, training, logistics, and program management lines of effort.
- Serve as the primary liaison between government stakeholders and contractor teams to synchronize mission objectives, timelines, deliverables, and operational constraints.
- Translate customer needs into clear operational requirements, tasking packages, and execution plans, ensuring traceability from planning through delivery.
- Coordinate mission planning activities, operational rehearsals, execution support, and post-mission analysis to ensure mission continuity and responsiveness.
- Monitor mission execution in real time and recommend adjustments to maintain alignment with operational priorities and risk management considerations.
- Support development of briefing products, operational updates, decision memos, and mission reporting for senior leaders.
- Participate in or facilitate operational working groups, planning boards, integrated product teams (IPTs), and mission synchronization meetings.
- Identify gaps, risks, and resourcing constraints; develop mitigation strategies and recommend solutions to leadership.
- Maintain awareness of mission dependencies, stakeholder priorities, and changes in operational posture to proactively support continuity.
- Ensure integration efforts support compliance with security, operational protocols, and customer standards.
Required QualificationsExperience- Demonstrated experience supporting mission planning, execution, integration, or operational coordination in a defense, intelligence, homeland security, or special operations environment.
- Proven ability to operate across multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams with strong execution discipline and attention to detail.
- Strong background in delivering operational outcomes under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
Education- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a related field such as:
- National Security Studies
- Homeland Security
- Intelligence Studies
- International Relations
- Business / Program Management
- Engineering / Applied Sciences
- Military Studies
- Emergency Management
- Cybersecurity / IT (where mission sets require technical integration)
- Or, similar degree
Security Clearance- Active Secret clearance required at minimum
- Top Secret (TS/Poly) preferred depending on mission requirements
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting mission integration within USSOCOM, Combatant Commands, Joint Staff elements, IC components, or other high-tempo mission organizations.
- Familiarity with mission planning cycles (MDMP, JPP, Joint Planning Process) and briefing frameworks used at operational and strategic levels.
- Experience supporting operational technology integration, ISR integration, or multi-domain mission coordination.
- Prior experience producing or managing:
- CONOPS
- Synchronization matrices
- Mission execution checklists
- Daily operational updates / SITREPs
- After Action Reviews (AARs)
