WORK SCHEDULE - 100% FTE (40 hours per week), Day Shift, Mon-Fri, 7:30-16:00 (off holidays)
DESCRIPTIONThe Registered Nurse for the Regional Epilepsy Center works as part of a
multidiscipline team to provide care for epilepsy and EEG patients.
This position is often the first contact point for patients.
Main job duties:
• Act upon and triage calls as appropriate
• Appropriately document patient care per hospital and department policies
• Effectively communicate with patients and providers medical
issues/concerns
• Perform nursing assessments on patients having or have just had a seizure
• Perform necessary medical review
• Call patient with appointment discharge follow-up
REQUIREMENTSRequires minimum two years RN work experience (neurology experience desired).

Compensation, Benefits and Position DetailsPay Range Minimum:$94,824.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum:$172,248.00 annual
Other Compensation:$10,000 Sign-on bonus for eligible new hires$1/hour BSN premium$1.25/hour nursing specialty certification premium
