Role OverviewWe are seeking an organized and detail-oriented IT Support Technician to assist with a backlog of laptop upgrades and replacements. This role involves imaging laptops, coordinating with end users via email and Teams, and working with office services on logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities- Image and configure laptops for deployment
- Coordinate with end users to schedule upgrades and replacements
- Communicate via email and Teams to confirm timing and logistics
- Collaborate with office services for hardware distribution and setup
- Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and inventory
- Provide Tier 1 support for basic technical issues as needed
Required Qualifications- 1–3 years of experience in Help Desk, IT Support, or Desktop Support roles
- Solid experience with laptop imaging
- Strong communication skills (phone, email, Teams)
- Patient and empathetic approach to supporting non-technical users
- Comfortable working in a corporate environment
Technical Skills- Operating Systems: Windows 10
- Software: Microsoft Office 365
- Systems & Tools: Active Directory (password resets, account creation)
- Hardware: PC troubleshooting, imaging, peripheral setup
- Networking: Basic understanding of LAN/WAN concepts
Education- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- Equivalent hands-on experience accepted
